All love is welcome here. Capturing moments that make your story yours.

Celebrating Your Story

In every wedding, I seek the beauty in both grand gestures and subtle moments. There's a romance in the way film captures light and emotion that mirrors the beauty of real, unscripted moments. I believe in allowing stories to unfold naturally. This patience, honed through years of working with film and photographing over 200 weddings, allows me to capture the subtle, serendipitous nuances of your day—the fleeting glances, the gentle touches, the unguarded laughter.

I'm attuned to the heartbeat of your day, documenting all the feels and connections that make your day unique. I'm not just taking photos; I'm telling your love story, one beautiful moment at a time.

Most couples’ investment ranges from $2,000 to $5,000. Portrait sessions begin at $750 per hour. Destination weddings are quoted individually. For those who cherish the timeless quality of film, I also offer film-only collections.

Let's preserve your precious moments with care and creativity.

    1. Do you photograph full or traditional weddings?

      • I'm available to photograph weddings for under 6 hours. After being diagnosed with Lupus in 2021 and spending years stabilizing my health and learning my limits, I now know I serve my couples the best when I prioritize my health. And don't worry, I've learned all the best ways to manage my symptoms during your session or wedding. You can learn more about Lupus here.

    2. Do you travel?

      • I've had the privilege to photograph weddings and engagements across the United States, and frequently travel abroad (Ireland, Mexico, and Italy being some of my favorite destinations). Weddings that include travel are quoted on a case by case basis taking into account things like airfare, accommodations, rental car, and taxi. My domestic travel packages typically include three nights stay, which includes the evening of your wedding, the evening before your wedding, and the evening before that. International travel laws will be evaluated as needed.

    3. Are we able to create a custom package?

      • I understand every wedding is unique and can definitely work with you to create a custom package that is tailored to your needs. If you don't see anything that fits, reach out!

    4. Can we see a full wedding gallery?

      • Absolutely. The photos on my social media and website are some of my favorite highlights of the wedding day, but there is so much more that goes into your gallery. I always send along full galleries as a part of my inquiry process.

    5. What is included in our package?

      • On average, you will receive 75-100 edited photos per hour within an online gallery. You'll have access to download high resolution JPG images with a personal print release. This means you are free to make prints on your own, however For the Lovers Photo still owns the copyright.

    6. What happens if you get sick or can't make it to our wedding?

      • Shit happens, but that doesn't mean we're unprepared. There is always a backup plan in place, fully explained in my Cancellation and Rescheduling clauses (you'll always be able to review your agreement before committing to anything). I have an intimate circle of photographers that are at my level of experience, just as skilled, and have the same style of shooting as I do.

HIYO,

Sagittarius Sun & Moon / Aquarius Rising
NYC born, Jersey Shore raised

As someone who's always felt a bit outside the box - a queer, chronically ill, first-generation American Dominican - I've found my calling in capturing the stories of those who found their own beat. My journey has led me to become a quiet observer, a fly-on-the-wall documentarian of love in all its forms. When I'm not behind the lens, you'll find me lost in the pages of a book, enjoying a matcha latte, and sharing snacks with my grumpy 10-year-old Shih Tzu, Henry. These peaceful moments fuel my creativity and inform my approach to photography, along with my ongoing studies in English Writing, deepen my appreciation for the stories told by my camera.

Every day, I have the privilege of working with amazing couples, families, and businesses who aren't afraid to create their own traditions. They're the trailblazers, the norm-challengers, the love-out-loud kind of folks. And in their stories, I find echoes of my own. When you invite me into your world, you're welcoming a thoughtful chronicler of life's unscripted moments. I seek the beauty in the raw, the real, the perfectly imperfect experience that define your unique journey. My approach is to blend into the background, allowing the true narrative of your day to develop organically, just like a roll of film.

I'm attuned to the subtle rhythms of your day, capturing the emotions and connections that make your celebration uniquely yours. Because at the end of the day, it's not about picture-perfect poses - it's about preserving the essence of your connection, your story, and the extraordinary love you share in ordinary moments.

Here, all love is welcome. I’m an Afro-Latina with a disability and who’s head-over-heels in love with her girlfriend, so there is no tolerance for discrimination against any  kind of love or celebration. I welcome all clients who feel drawn to my work, regardless of race, disability, gender identity, sexual identity, religion, etc.
